- gggilly1 Review added: 2018.04.23★ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆Disgusted! Whilst on holiday my elderly pet chicken became very Ill. I rang Companion Care Huddersfield, to ask for advise and decided the best thing was to have her put to sleep. I was quoted a cost of £38. My teenage children then took her to them but were charged £56.65 and told that she was bigger than they thought! (she is a standard size ginger chicken).
My children were too upset to argue and they took advantage of the situation........
Surely when your quoted a price, they should stick to it...... How difficult is it to inject a Chicken, especially one so tame......
